One night the power of The Holy Spirit woke me up. Every thing was dark at first and it was like Love was in the air with the power of God manifested all around me. I was totally engulfed in The Spirit and I was just rejoicing in my heart. All of a sudden I saw a rectangle that was just bright enough to see, move horizontally from left to right in front of me. I was not sure what it was but I just was enjoying The Spirit so much. Then I saw another rectangle like the first move left to right. Then another and another. Each one was moving slowly. I was not sure what was going on.

Then after a few minutes my eyes began to be accustomed to the dark. I could see that I was in my bedroom. However, instead of lying on my bed like normal, I was actually a couple of feet above my bed in mid air! Spinning slowly! The Lord was dancing with me! and the moving rectangle that I was seeing was my bedroom window pass before my eyes in the dark. He wasn’t there in bodily form, just in The Spirit.

After another minute He stopped me and then He laid me down on the carpet along the side of the bed. I really couldn’t move but felt so wonderful in His presence. I could feel the surface of the carpet on the side of my face as I looked up at the top of the bed. Then The Spirit picked me up again and lifted me up to the top of my bed. I was standing about a foot off of my pillow.

I’m sure you know stories of people having out of body experiences who maybe dying and float outside their bodies to look down and see themselves on a hospital bed. Well this was NOT an out of body experience, because as I was hovering above my pillow I looked down on my bed and my body wasn’t there. I was in my body standing right above my pillow!

As I was looking down at the bed I noticed a tunnel form in the sheets and blanket. Then The Lord slipped me right into that tunnel and tucked me into bed. Wow! What an experience! Such a beautiful encounter with The Holy Spirit! I slipped back into sleep sometime after that. I was so “high” on God!
